Or walk a few minutes from the door to Watershead and catch a ferry across the Lake to Bowness, Newby Bridge or The Aquarium of The Lakes.

Under Rigg Cottage is equipped to the very highest standard, with entrance cloakroom and a separate laundry/drying room for clothes boots and other equipment.
