The historic market town of Shaftesbury is also within easy reach, famous for its iconic Gold Hill, picturesque cottages and sweeping views across the Blackmore Vale. Further afield, explore Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead Estate and Salisbury Cathedral.
Approached via a private gravel driveway, this detached barn combines character with contemporary comforts. Inside, a useful utility room houses a washer/dryer, fridge/freezer and separate WC, ideal for cleaning up after countryside adventures. The spacious open-plan kitchen/diner features a vaulted ceiling and large glazed doors, creating a bright and welcoming space for dining together. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave and dishwasher. A short flight of steps leads to the cosy lounge, complete with a wood burner and Smart TV. Two separate staircases lead to the bedrooms, each featuring a king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be arranged as 2ft 6 twin beds on request) and an en-suite shower room with WC.
Outside, the patio provides a lovely spot for outdoor dining and relaxing, overlooking open paddocks where sheep can often be seen grazing. Private parking is available for two cars on the driveway or in the adjacent car port. Please note, BBQs are not permitted due to the thatched roof.
