Beach Cottage at Pevensey Bay
Beach Cottage enjoys a prime location in Pevensey Bay with a private garden leading directly onto the beach. Take in the spectacular views from the sofa, private terrace and garden and watch the boats pass by and feel transported to another, tranquil world.
The beach cottage provides cosy and traditional accommodation right by the sea, with two double bedrooms providing a wonderful base for up to four people, and the option of a third bunk bedroom for larger families. The beach cottage can be booked as either two- or three-bedroom accommodation.
The beach cottage is reached by a flight of 18 steps from the road to the front door which leads into the well-equipped kitchen, with oven, hob, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and washer-dryer and all the utensils you’ll need for a holiday on the beach.
Walking through to the open-plan lounge-diner you will be inevitably drawn towards the views, through the floor-to-ceiling patio doors. There is a selection of comfy seating, a dining table which seats up to six and multi-channel TV.
Outside, there is a large terrace to the front of the property with sun loungers, but the real draw is the rear garden, which has patio area and an enclosed shingle space which leads straight onto the beach. Beach lovers could not be closer to the sea.
The main two bedrooms each have double beds, making this beach cottage ideal accommodation for four adults and small families. The third bunk bedroom will be locked off unless required for a larger group, which means we can offer the property at two bedroom rates for smaller groups, but it is suitable for larger families too. The rates loaded on our website are for two bedrooms/maximum four guests, and for larger families that need the third bedroom a £200 per week supplement applies.
The nautically-themed family bathroom provides a bath with shower over. The central heating is fully controllable, so this beach cottage is toasty warm throughout the cooler months – making this an excellent choice for an out-of-season escape as well as the perfect summer destination.
WiFi, towels and linen are provided (you will just need to bring your own beach towels) and there is parking for a car at the front of the property and additional spaces free on-street outside. A well behaved adult and neutered / spayed dog would also be considered (a £50 supplement applies) so there is no need to feel guilty about leaving four-legged friends back home.
Pevensey area delights are easily accessible from Beach Cottage
Assuming that you can be drawn away from your garden and the beach at some point, Pevensey high street is just a few minutes walk away with cafes, shops and pubs. As well as the wonderful beach walks ramblers should also head for Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters within the South Downs National Park, a short drive or bus trip away.
The Pevensey area is fill of historic treats given that William the Conqueror landed here in 1066 and changed the course of English history, such as Pevensey and Herstmonceux Castles.
From Pevensey, it’s a very short 10 minute drive to Bexhill, where you can find the De La Warr contemporary art gallery and performance centre, with its chic cafe overlooking the sea
