Self Catering Holiday Cottages in Suffolk’s Beautiful Blyth Valley
Bucks Farm’s four holiday cottages lie next to the 16th century pink-washed farmhouse of owners Luke and Nic Andrews and their family.
Bucks Farm is a 14-acre farm surrounded by open fields overlooking Suffolk’s lovely Blyth Valley.
Located along a country lane and its own private drive, Bucks Farm is perfect for those who like their self-catering holidays just a little off the beaten track.
The 4 barns have been beautifully converted to provide you with every modern convenience in your get-away from it all setting.
Blyth’s View is a detached cottage that sleeps seven
Harvest Keep sleeps five people
Swallow’s Rest sleeps four people and is all on the ground floor with private garden and hot tub.
Hogs Corner sleeps four
Each cottage is centrally heated and has a wood burning stove to create a really cosy atmosphere at any time of the year. They also have french doors leading to their own private, south-facing patios with furniture and barbecues. The cottages feature a high standard of facilities, including fully equipped kitchens with full sized appliances, including dishwasher, and a flat screen TV, DVD, hi-fi and for those who just find it too hard to switch off completely there is free wi-fi access.
Well behaved dogs are accepted in Harvests Keep, Hogs Corner and Swallows Rest, although no more than two please. A small charge is made for dogs.
Bucks Farm has its own heated indoor swimming pool, with air conditioning and a newly equipped fitness room for adults.
The pool is open every day for cottage guests from 8.30am to 12.00 noon and 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Extra sessions in the pool can usually be arranged on arrival.
Other facilities include a Games Room with table tennis, a small snooker table, table football, and also lots of toys, books and activities for smaller children. High chairs, cots, bed guards and stair gates are available at no extra cost.
As well as the indoor swimming pool, we also have a fully equipped fitness room for adults which includes all the latest equipment and a small 3 person infra red sauna.
In house baby sitting is available, ideally booked in advance.
There is a large, separate lawn in front of the swimming pool where children can play safely with lots of outdoor toys and ride-on tractors, and nearby paddocks where some of the farm’s animals can be visited. Younger visitors might like to help to collect eggs and help with feeding.

There are lots of places of interest within easy driving distance, including the delightful resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh.The famous Snape Maltings concert hall, the steam museum and gardens of Bressingham and the medieval castles of Framlingham and Orford.
