Cottages with plenty of character, beams and stonework
Cheristow Farm Cottages – Self-catering holiday cottages on the Hartland Peninsula North Devon
Deep in Devon countryside, close to a particularly dramatic stretch of the South West Coast Path, superb beaches, gardens and tea rooms, Cheristow Farm Cottages are great for walkers, families and couples who want to explore North Devon and North Cornwall, or simply stay put and relax.
Children can run free in the play area and help feed the chickens and ducks; adults can use the hot tub and sauna, light barbecues and wood-burning stoves.
Converted from old stone farm buildings these comfortable cottages also have plenty of character, beams and stonework.
The Granary and Milking Parlour have small patio gardens overlooking the picnic/play area and the fields beyond to the sea. The Linhay and Stables look onto the former farmyard and have open plan living areas. The Tack Room is our small cosy bolthole for two (the only one without a wood-burning stove).
The Granary – Sleeps 5/6 (plus cot), dogs allowed
The Milking Parlour – Sleeps 4 (plus cot), dogs allowed.
The Tack Room – Sleeps 2 (no cot), 1 small dog allowed.
The Stables – Sleeps 4 (plus cot), dogs allowed.
The Linhay – Sleeps 4 (plus cot), dogs allowed.
We have dogs of our own and guests’ well-behaved dogs are very welcome – we charge a fee. Most cottages have small enclosed gardens/courtyards. All cottages have wooden floors. We ask that dogs are always kept under control, are not left unattended in the cottages or allowed on furniture or beds.

We loved every minute of our stay here. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come again.
Thank you so very much for hosting us in this amazing little corner of Devon. We’ve had a great time. We have particularly enjoyed feeding the ducks, pigs and hens every day and relaxing in the hot tub
