The house provides a range of impressive public rooms, whilst delicious locally sourced meals can be provided on request. The additional Linhay can be booked out with the house for groups of 13, but also be booked out separately making it an ideal space for a couples retreat.
When booking either of the properties guests have sole use the estate and are free to enjoy the miles of stunning countryside Exmoor has to offer.

The Grange is an exquisite Georgian Farmhouse which has 6 bedrooms full of period features with a variety of further public rooms.
A cosy 1 bedroomed annexe. Sleeping 2 it’s an ideal space for a couples retreat or can be booked out alongside the annexe to accommodate a group of 13.
Away from the estate Emmett’s Grange can also offer an ideal location to explore the wider North Devon and West Somerset area. With miles of long sandy beaches at Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe as well as rugged cliff top walks at Lynton and Lynmouth you are never far away from North Devon’s splendidly picturesque coast (You can see the sea from the top of the drive). Alternatively the historic market towns of South Molton and Dulverton can provide an excellent day out, as well as the many miles of unrivalled National Park moorland which are always there to explore.

This is an excellent place from where to explore Exmoor; because if the weather fails you, the house will not. Full of history and lovely rooms, it’s warmth still retains some of the sublime spirit of the moors. I love it!
