Harbour to Horizon – Two superb holiday properties in Cornwall
Harbour to Horizon properties match breathtaking views with boutique style interiors. They range from a luxurious apartment perched high on the cliffs to a refurbished HM Coastguard cottage both overlooking the ancient fishing port of Mevagissey.
Escape to Mevagissey on the South Cornish coast to breathe the invigorating sea air and experience an ever changing seascape. The cottages (both with adjacent private parking) lie on opposite sides of the distinctive twin harbour, where fishermen’s cottages tumble down the hillside to the quays below. Perched high, they command breath-taking views not only of the harbour but further along the coast.
Marine Point in Nare Court – Luxury apartment on the Cornish south coast

All three bedrooms have luxurious pocket sprung mattresses, TVs and iPod docks, the double having an en suite shower-room and the twin and single bedrooms sharing the family bathroom. “Our journey from the south of Germany took 16 hours, but everything was alright when we stood on the balcony – GREAT. The highlight was to watch dolphins and to find such a wonderful apartment.”
Seafarers – South Cornish coast cottage with stunning views
Seafarers is a former HM Coastguard cottage, accommodating four guests, at the end of a private road.
In early 2019 the Seafarer’s garden was redesigned, making the best use of its south facing, elevated site, with far-reaching views across St Austell Bay. Tucked away, granite steps lead to tiered terraces, an idyllic sun trap, created solely for relaxation and enjoyment. Gently unwind on one of the recliners, or savour those lazy summer al fresco lunches. However, if you prefer to remain in shade, The Lookout is the perfect sanctuary to retreat to, providing both luxury and seclusion.
It is equipped to a high standard, to provide you with the comfort of home, without losing any of its natural charm. There is a well-equipped modern kitchen, comfortable luxurious bedding and plasma TV which can be enjoyed on leather recliners. Superfast WiFi broadband combined with Smart televisions provide catch up services and unlimited internet access.
The property is “no smoking” and has all the requirements for young children (cot, high chair and stairgate etc) but does not take dogs.

See & Do
Without the need to drive, take a short stroll and explore the labyrinth of tiny streets unchanged over centuries, as they twist and turn past ancient dwarf buildings of cob and slate. Here you will find fine restaurants rubbing shoulders with characterful pubs, cafes serving delicious Cornish cream teas and fresh crab or lobster straight from the boats.
Positioned at the gateway to The Roseland, Mevagissey lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and is well placed for exploring this champagne coast and unpacking the rest of Cornwall. There are many accessible walks as the South-West coastal footpath is right on the doorstep. A ten minute drive will bring you to one of many delightful Cornish gardens, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and slightly further afield the world renowned Eden Project and cathedral city, Truro. Savour Cornwall’s alfresco foodie culture at the Hidden Hut in Portscatho or Sam’s on the Beach at Polkerris.
