“Dear David and Barbara,
Our second stay at Mill Cottage has been equally as enjoyable as the first. Thank you so much for providing everything we could wish of a holiday cottage – and more!
The week has flown by. We have revisited old haunts and otherwise just pottered. We walked from the house to Shepherd’s law in lovely spring sunshine, found the Hermitage and even got to meet Brother Harold! The church there is a tremendous achievement and reminded us of a little corner of Greece!
And now we are returning south, leaving you with our best wishes for a successful summer with your holiday house.
With kind regards, C & T H (Oxfordshire)”
“We really enjoyed our short stay in your delightful cottage – so very warm and welcoming! It was so nice to come to Eglingham where my great-grandparents had lived in the late 1800’s and raised their family. We hope to be back again!

“We have had a lovely week in the cottage. It was a shame the weather was ‘wet and wild’ but lovely to return to such a cosy and warm home. Everything has been 5* and we look forward to returning in the future.

“What a beautiful holiday cottage. The ‘Welcome Grocery-Pack’ was a pleasant surprise and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, Mill Cottage is a credit to your dedication and hard work. We will definitely recommend this fabulous little gem to friends and family.
