Great location, on a quiet road (no through traffic), yet just a short stroll from Milford on sea village, which has a good selection of shops, pubs, award winning restaurants, traditional fish and chip shop and a lively wine bar, The beach and stunning cliff top walks are 10 minutes’ walk away whilst the timeless beauty of the New Forest National Park starts just over a mile away.
The house was designed by the owners and is a traditionally styled modern house, but carefully created to fit into a conservation area surrounded by grade 2 listed buildings. Handmade tiles and bricks, serpentine walls, cedar cladding and a well laid out garden (mainly lawns) all ensure the house adds to the character of this special area of Milford village.
Upstairs are two large en-suite bedrooms each with a king size bed which can be split into two comfortable singles. The master bedroom has good views across to the \Isle of Wight
The ground floor is dominated by the large open plan kitchen, bar, dining and living areas which leads out through patio doors to the large south facing terrace – ideal for alfresco meals, coffee breaks or just enjoying the sun. In addition there is a large study/play room and separate utility room with washing machine and tumbler dryer.
Other facilities include wall mounted TV with digital surround sound TV, cd player, a Roberts stream Wi-Fi radio, mood lighting, a wine fridge and sun loungers.
Included in the price are all utilities, linen, towels, all our toddler equipment (cots, high chairs, stair gates, nappy changing mat, plastic cutlery/crockery, toy cupboard, children’s books, buckets and spades, crabbing gear, small arm chairs, etc.) wood for the log burning stove and a permit for 39 local car parks including beaches.
Just outside the New Forest boundary is the village of Milford-on-Sea which makes an ideal base to explore the Hampshire/Dorset coast and the New Forest area. Keyhaven is one mile away which has a ferry service to Hurst Castle – well worth a visit. Nearby is the market town of Lymington which has a regular car ferry service to the Isle of Wight. Beaulieu Palace & Motor museum, Butlers Hard and Exbury Gardens are all close by whilst for youngsters Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig, is also nearby.
