Old Oak Barn offers unique 4 star self catering accommodation for 4 plus baby in a peaceful woodland valley and is situated in West Carmarthenshire near the Pembrokeshire border only 5-10 minutes from the A40 & St Clears.This beautifully converted and very child friendly barn has complete privacy and has been refurbished to a very high standard using timber from our own woods. Free WiFi is available. The 75 acre farm is half woodlands and half pasture and visitors have exclusive access to the 38 acre woodlands with its paths and tracks – and the log cabin with camp fire and swings.
Visitors love watching the huge range of birds which nest in the valley – the feeders around the barn attract birds all year round. We have been widely recognised for the contribution we make to sustainability and to our great customer care..
Old Oak Barn
The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and contains all you may need for your holiday or short break. The two bedrooms are simply furnished and are adjacent to the spacious main living room which measures 6 x 5 mt. Travel cot or camp bed can be used to sleep 5. We welcome those wanting a last minute short break out of the main holiday season – minimum of 2 nights and we welcome children. Prices start at £275 for 7 nights in January and rise to £795 in the school summer holidays 2018. Easter weeks are £595. One small dog is welcomed. More information
Over the last few years we have welcomed many children of all ages to Old Oak Barn. Our youngest visitor was just 4 weeks old. Little ones love the space inside and out and also appreciate the many extras we provide for them. More information
Old Oak Barn offers very individual accommodation in a stunning location which is very near to a range of holiday attractions. We are only twenty minutes from the coast at Pendine and the Wales Coast Path and 30 minutes from Aberglasney, the Botanic Gardens, Folly Farm and Oakwood.
