The Olde House – self-catering, farm cottages in North Cornwall
Situated on a 550 acre working farm in the pretty village of Chapel Amble, our cottages are surrounded by luscious countryside, perfect for family breaks. Sandy beaches like Polzeath, Rock and Daymer Bay are just an 8 minute drive away for the full Cornish experience. The farm cottages are dog-friendly too, so four-legged friends are more than welcome to join in with the holiday.
Primrose – 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4 Friday Changeover

Bracken – 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6 Friday Changeover
Bracken is a very short walk to the farm’s adventure playground, indoor play barn, Pets’ Corner and the tennis courts. Ideal for our younger guests who just can’t wait to get to the play areas.
Smeathers – 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps 8 Friday Changeover
Surrounded by acres of countryside, Smeathers is a large, four bedroomed farmhouse about a mile and a half from the main site.
The Barn – 5 Bedrooms, Sleeps 10 Friday Changeover
With its very own play area, The Barn is our largest property and perfect for groups or larger families.
Indoor leisure centre
Our indoor leisure centre is at the heart of The Olde House site. With a heated swimming pool, whirlpool bath, sauna, darts and snooker table, there is something for everyone for those days that are a little chilly.
Our outdoor tennis courts are available for everyone to use all year round.
Pet’s Corner is home to an array of animals including guinea pigs, goats, pigs and rabbits.
Here at The Olde House, we are just a 8 minute drive from some of the UK’s most popular beaches.
With some great beaches on our doorstep, The Olde House is a great spot for budding surfers. During school holidays and half-term breaks, we run The Olde House Surf Club in partnership with Wavehunters Surf Academy on Polzeath Beach.
Each North Cornish town or village has its very own unique charm which draws visitors back year after year. There is plenty to keep visitors busy, with lots of stops to pick up a souvenir from Cornwall along the way.
Aquariums, adventure parks, castles and manor houses; the county is home to an abundance of attractions for families of all ages.
