Penrice Castle Cottages – in the heart of the Gower Peninsular, South Wales
Penrice Castle and its surrounding Estate lie in the heart of the Gower Peninsula in South Wales just twenty minutes out of Swansea.
The Estate offers holiday accommodation in sixteen self catering Gower holiday cottages overlooking Oxwich Bay. Visitors have access to the historic park and gardens at Penrice and free entry to nearby Oxwich Bay car park owned by the Estate.
Gower was the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Britain and is ideal for walking, bird watching, boating, golf, watersports, horse riding and fishing.Well behaved dogs are welcome in our holiday cottages and on the Estate beach at Oxwich Bay, Gower throughout the year.

Penrice Castle Cottages have 16 cottages sleeping between 2 and 8 persons.
The Estate owns and looks after Oxwich Beach and its adjacent Car Park as well as 16 self catering holiday cottages around the Estate. The beach has been previously nominated the best beach in Britain and the best beach in the world by the Travel Magazine and was particularly recommended for its Arcadian qualities. It has won numerous clean beach awards over recent years. Boat and jet ski owners wishing to launch at Oxwich are also charged at a variable daily rate and, after their initial visit, must join the Oxwich Boat Club. Forms for this are available to download here or at the car park gate and the club requires insurance documents and an administration fee.
In addition to boat club membership, jet skis must be RYA certified and on busy days will not be allowed to launch until after 4pm.
The Estate runs two beach shops on Oxwich Car Park selling a range of hot and cold food and drinks, ice creams and beach toys and equipment. Read more
