Red Doors enjoys splendid views across the Otter Valley. It feels totally off the beaten track but yet it is so accessible. We are 3 miles from the market town of Honiton and Exeter is a 30-minute drive away. East Devon is known as the ‘countryside by the sea’ and the unspoilt southern coastline with its beaches, pretty fishing villages and smugglers coves is only half an hour away.
The area is superb for walking whatever your level of fitness. You can enjoy fine countryside and fabulous views right from our doorstep, follow the coastal path or explore the wilds of Dartmoor and Exmoor. There are also many historic houses, castles and gardens including some fine National Trust properties such as Killerton House, Castle Drogo and Knightshayes Court. There are plenty of attractions for children of all ages from theme parks and wildlife parks to steam railways and farms. Or they could try something different such as sea fishing for mackerel, fossil hunting or pony trekking.
Red Doors Farm is perfect for couples and family holidays and those who wish for a luxury, relaxing, hideaway retreat.
