Hencote Estate may be tucked away in rural Shropshire but is less than a 10-minute drive from the county town of Shrewsbury. Here you can explore the timber-framed Tudor buildings and alleyways with an enviable collection of independent shops, restaurants and old public houses. For an amazing view across Shrewsbury climb the walls of the Shrewsbury Castle first built during the reign of William the Conqueror.
This locality provides many other interesting places to explore for lovers of culture, history or the outdoors.
We all had a fantastic few days in this gorgeous house, beautifully furnished and well-equipped. The gardens were lovely and the hot tub was well-used by all.
