“Best accommodation in The Lake District”
“This place is a little gem, its beautifully done out with sensational views a real 10/10. Iwent here with my partner and it was the most romantic place we have ever stayed”
“The most beautiful place to stay in The Lakes”
“The best place I have stayed in in The Lakes”
“Inspired and Inspiring”
“My (now fiance) booked Waternook for us so that he could propose!!! Dominic went above and beyond and helped him plan the whole thing to perfection. He put the Champagne at the end of the jetty in time for sunset and the impending proposal, he helped make the whole experience magical!! I cannot rave about both Dominic and Waternook enough, the setting is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous.”
“Waternook is a hidden gem! Everything about this place oozes with excellence… Its location alone fronting Ullswater with Hallin Fell literally in its backyard by itself is a driving point to stay here. The grounds of Waternook are also something to admire as we spent much of our break from our amateurish hiking loitering around the grounds and enjoying the landscape. Think counting sheep on the hills (High Street) from our window, or spotting the fish jumping out of the surface of Ullswater every now and then. These are things, when in the context of such a beautiful area, sound natural and common sense. For the far more adventurous visitors, you’ve got the countless fells to hike to, just ask Dominic!”
