The Stonehouses are luxuriously equipped retreats with panoramic views across Loch Broom and out to the Summer Isles. They are spacious, yet cosy, with full under floor heating and wood burning stoves in the open plan living areas. The houses includes spacious saunas, and luxury freestanding baths.
Built by ourselves, Gavin and Rachel Anderson, and a team of local crafts people and artisans, the houses were designed by a local Hebridean architect with the aim of bringing together traditional building techniques with modern design and environmental considerations.
Our aim is to provide a unique and luxurious base from where you can explore our wonderful village, stunning local environment and Highland life and culture.
CURVED STONE HOUSE accommodates up to 4 A spacious 2 bedroom property with a double bedroom with en-suite and a second twin/double bedroom with a second shower room/WC. Features a luxury freestanding bath, sauna with double shower and wood burning stove.
Curved Stone House has a spacious south westerly facing spill out area and panoramic windows, from which you can view the dramatic West Highland vistas.
TREETOP HOUSE accommodates 2-3
.Treetop House is dramatically located on the edge of the gorge of a small stream which transforms into a cascade of waterfalls in wet weather. Its elevated position gives it its name, with panoramic views of mountain, sea and island vistas over the top of the indigenous forest of birch, rowan and ash.
The house accommodates 3 people in a double and single bedroom and features a sauna, luxury freestanding bath, wood burning stove and intimate and private spill out spaces. This is a perfect retreat for couples.
2020 and 2021 rates are as follows:
Full Week Peak (May to September and Xmas and New Year): £1990
Full Week Mid (April and October) £1860
Full week Off Peak: (November to March): £1380
Short breaks Off Peak (3 nights minimum): £215 to £290/night

The scenic hillside location backs onto the Ullapool Hill Path network. Within minutes, you can discover a secluded mountain environment high above Loch Broom and gazing towards the mountains of Assynt and Coigach; returning later to a sauna or luxury bath, relaxing by the log fire while watching the ever changing light across Loch Broom and the Summer Isles.
WITHIN A LIVELY HIGHLAND VILLAGE:
Ullapool is a thriving community renowned for its music, arts and culture. Local, national and even international musicians frequently perform throughout the year at Ullapool’s pubs and venues. Local arts are featured in exhibitions at the local arts centre (An Talla Solais) and Ceilidh Place and local and national crafts can be found in Ullapool’s shops and galleries. Quality shops offer a range of necessities, comforts and luxuries. Local pubs, cafes and restaurants offer a wide variety of food and refreshments.

Only 70 minutes drive from the Highland capital of Inverness, but within the heart of the North West Highlands, Ullapool is set within one of the most stunning scenic areas of Scotland.
