There are plenty of good country and coast walks with inviting pubs to discover, delicious breads, meats, cheeses and other locally produced foods and drinks to seek out at farm shops and markets, whilst Honiton, the nearest town, is an ideal place to while away a morning browsing the eclectic mix of antique and bric-a-brac shops, small restaurants, cafés and individual boutiques.
Location is perfect, so quiet with plenty of walks yet close enough to enjoy cinema and shopping. All the locals I met were very nice and local food was delicious. I came to do some writing, walking, pub food and photography, but it would be perfect for anyone after some peace and quiet.
An amazing few days in this gorgeous cottage. Absolutely perfect and just what we needed. Definitely back next year. Our 4th year and never disappoints. Never want to leave!
Third time staying here and we couldn’t ask for anything more – 5* accommodation – from the home made scones to the NY’s Prosecco to the wonderfully comfortable bed. Thank you, and see you soon
