Lovingly restored by the owner, guests staying at Culls Cottage will find a delightful mix of old meets new with exposed beams, stone floors, roaring log fires, underfloor heating, modern furniture and finishes, and goose-down duvets to keep warm and cosy in winter; and for the summer months, the pretty, private garden invites you to enjoy a barbecue and admire the well-stocked borders, manicured lawn and numerous spots to sit, dine and relax.

The comfortable sitting room features an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and is the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. A fully equipped, modern kitchen leads to the dining room with contemporary dining space for six guests. A double bedroom is conveniently located on the ground floor and has use of the beautifully tiled wet room. Upstairs a large master bedroom and further double bedroom enjoy more exposed beams and share the charming family bathroom with double-ended slipper bath and separate shower.

Southrop is a traditional Cotswold village famous for its Grade I listed 12th century church, St. Peters. Also within walking distance of Culls Cottage you will find the village green, cricket pitch and a 17th century pub, The Swan, serving simple and hearty meals.

The village of Southrop is the perfect location for a break in Gloucestershire and is popular with guests who enjoy walking, cycling, fishing and boating (River Thames is just three miles away). Guests staying at Culls Cottage will be able to walk to The Swan, which offers excellent food.

The area has numerous quaint, pretty Cotswold villages to explore including Radcot, which has one of the oldest crossing points over the River Thames. Filkins is also close by with its open air swimming pool, Cotswold Woollen Weavers and Five Alls Pub.

Three miles away, you will find the small Cotswold Market Town of Lechlade-on-Thames.

Burford, famous for its sweeping High Street and medieval bridge is eight miles away and has a wonderful garden centre with stylish home interiors shop as well as a gift shop, art gallery and cafe. Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens in is a must for a memorable family day out.

Cirencester 18 miles away.

Oxford, which is brimming with things to do is just over 26 miles away. Here you will be able to enjoy punting on the river, admire the spectacular architecture or visit the Ashmolean Museum. Pretty Woodstock is 23 miles way and is home to Blenheim Palace.

Stratford-upon-Avon (Shakespeare's Birthplace) is only an hours drive away and is home to The Royal Shakespeare Company.

Sezincote House & Gardens close to Moreton-in-Marsh is a lovely place to explore as is Batsford Arboretum. Both are 22 miles away.
