Deerpark Lodge - Leicestershire Holiday Lodge

Deerpark Lodge is situated in an woodland clearing adjacent to a small livestock farm, within the the grounds of the Staunton Harold Estate. Located on the border of North West Leicestershire and South Derbyshire the lodge has been constructed from locally sourced timber and provides a rural retreat overlooking the parkland.

Accessed via its own drive and entrance, Deerpark Lodge still has access to the craft centre, tea rooms, delicatessen (at weekends) and garden nursery which forms part of the Staunton Harold Estate. There are also magnificent lakes which guests can fish by arrangement at no charge and there are numerous walks throughout the estate. Occupants of the lodge can access the 28 acres of privately owned land which is otherwise not open to the public. Please note this property is situated within the East Midlands flight path.

Ground floor:
Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with access to a large decked area and garden.
Double bedroom with 4'6" bed and en-suite walk in shower room.

First floor:
Double bedroom with 4'6" bed.
Twin bedroom with 3' beds which can be locked together to make a 6' double upon request.
Family bathroom.

Equipment

Central heating (wood fired with hot water immersion back up), large wood burning stove (logs provided as part of the stay).
Electric cooker, fridge with small integrated freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer. A full size fridge/freezer is also connected in the garden shed.
Wall mounted TV in the sitting room, DVD.

Travel cot, high chair and stairgate on request.
