Drackenorth Lodge has been tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard and features a large dining hall which is perfect for gathering all the family together for a celebratory occasion. The generous accommodation includes two double bedrooms on the ground floor, and both a double and twin bedroom on the first floor, all with their own en-suites. A striking staircase with a galleried landing and spectacular chandelier leads you to the first floor where you will find a comfortable sitting room in which to relax. As one of a collection of three stunning properties at Stapleford Farm, guests have the privilege of enjoying the far reaching views of the surrounding pretty countryside. There is a courtyard style garden with picnic benches for relaxing and enjoying al fresco dining to the rear of the property and a large open lawned garden to the front.

From the doorstep there are many lovely walks to be enjoyed, and the delights of West Dorset are all easily accessible from the village.

Additional accommodation is available at neighbouring Tothery Cottage and Bower Cottage which form part of Stapleford Farm Cottages.

Drackenorth Lodge is within easy reach of the centre of the small town of Beaminster with its quaint and artisan shops, restaurants and cafes.

There are numerous pretty villages within a short drive and the local popular attractions of Mapperton Gardens and Redlands Yard.

The nearby market town of Bridport is a popular shopping destination with its large selection of local and independent shops, pubs, restaurants and regular street and antique markets.

The famous and scenic Jurassic Coast is only a short drive away, and with the popular resorts of West Bay, Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis all easily accessible from the cottage, there is plenty to explore and experience.

Other must-see sights along this unique coastline include Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Both of these fascinating and photogenic features have been carved out by the sea over millions of years.

The Hive Beach at Burton Bradstock and its café, serving fresh local seafood and home made cakes is nearby.

The pretty village of Abbotsbury has a number of attractions including a Swannery and Subtropical Gardens.

St Catherine's Chapel was built in the 14th century and sits in splendid isolation overlooking Chesil Beach.

The county town of Dorchester is only a 20 minute drive away with its large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes, museums and two cinemas.
