Driftsands - Romantic Sea View Chalet in South Cornwall - Dog friendly
Set above the beautiful sands of Whitsand Bay on Cornwall’s south-eastern coast, Driftsands is a stylish coastal retreat with spectacular uninterrupted sea views stretching towards the Eddystone Lighthouse. The area is ideal for beach days, surfing, swimming, coastal walks and exploring nearby villages including Cawsands and Kingsand, while Looe and Mount Edgcumbe Country Park are also within easy reach.
Inside, the open-plan living and dining area features bi-fold doors that open onto the front deck, creating a seamless connection with the coast. Relax beside the log-effect gas fire or enjoy the views from the comfort of the sofa. The king-size bedroom has a picture window overlooking the sea, while the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower over a double-ended bath provide everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Outside, two private decked areas make the most of the stunning setting, with a bistro table, wicker seating, outdoor kitchen and Ninja Woodfire BBQ. A second deck has a pergola, sun blinds, loungers and a raised dining area, perfect for enjoying the evening sunshine and spectacular sunsets. Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of two.
Parking is provided near the top of the cliff, followed by a 500-metre walk down a sloping tarmac track, which is steep in places, and 10 steps to the chalet. Due to the access, the property is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
