East Lodge is a delightful, single storey barn conversion with original beams and features situated in 30 acres of its own grass and woodland. This holiday accommodation stands 200m along a private drive, its slightly elevated position affording stunning views towards the Hambleton Hills.

East Lodge, Diamond Hill, is conveniently situated in Lower Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales, a short walk from the village pub and shop in Hunton and close to Patrick Brompton and Akebar with its real ale pubs and restaurants.

Ground floor accommodation:
Spacious open plan living area (14m x 5m) consisting of the sitting room with a wood burning stove and comfortable seating and an adjoining dining area with feature beams, stone and brickwork, all with oak floors. The garden door opens into the enclosed lawned garden.
Conservatory with southerly aspect opening into a private courtyard with garden furniture.
Large kitchen with a four oven cream Aga, electric hob and combination oven, breakfast bar and a family space with a TV. The kitchen, utility and cloakroom with wc, all have tiled floors.

Master bedroom with a 6' bed and an en-suite shower wet room.

Easy to reach by road and rail - it is 4 miles from the A1 and 10 miles from the East Coast mainline railway.
Within 8 miles are the market towns of Leyburn, Bedale, Richmond and Masham - all with local produce shops, cafes and high class restaurants.
There are castles at Richmond, Bolton and Middleham, historic sites at Jervaulx and Fountains Abbey, many beautiful country houses with extensive gardens and an arboretum at Thorpe Perrow.
Discover the Forbidden Corner, sample 'Black Sheep' and Theakstons real ales at source, taste creamy Brymore ice cream on the farm or see Wensleydale cheese made at Hawes.
The geography of the area provides us with dramatic waterfalls at Aysgarth, walking opportunities both gentle or more challenging (climb Penhill) and the range of beautiful dales - Wensleydale, Swaledale and Coverdale amongst others. Perhaps take an hour's ride to York, the spa town of Harrogate or the coast at Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors.
