This is a charming, fully refurbished traditional cottage, ideally located on the rural edges of Garelochhead in Scotland’s beautiful Argyllshire. Restyled inside to provide contemporary accommodation, this cottage is ideal to use as a base for exploring the many hills and lochs that surround the village. Set all on the ground floor, the cottage has four double bedrooms, (two en suite) plus a shower room, a kitchen with a dining area and a relaxing sitting room. Outside is a front garden and a patio with wonderful views over the mountains beyond, the perfect place to relax and drink in the tranquility as you plan your day’s activities. The village of Garelochhead, on the shore of the Gare Loch, has pubs and shops, and the West Highland Line stops at the local station. Apart from the many Munros offering superb walking, Garelochhead is close to Helensburgh, a popular and busy seaside resort. Dramatic Loch Long and beautiful Loch Lomond are only a short drive away and Glasgow is within easy reach either by car or train. A wonderful cottage with fantastic walking all year round.
