Neighbour to the fabulous Watery Park Barn, Hiron’s Piece is a comfortable country home restored with peace and comfort in mind.

With an impressive open-plan dining kitchen as the heart of the house with double french doors to the front of the property and an amazing floor to ceiling glazed gable end, this space is flooded with natural light and makes for the perfect sociable entertaining space whether it’s a relaxed family breakfast or sophisticated dinner party. The owner has painstakingly sourced the remarkable overhead beams and there’s not a nail in sight lending the space an oak room feel. Underfloor heating throughout this area ensures its super cosy in the cooler months. and four en-suite bedrooms, it’s the ideal place to get together with family or friends. Exposed timbers, vast glazing and sumptuous furnishings give this property a wonderful sense of light and space.

For a larger group of up to 26 guests, this property can be booked alongside Watery Park Barn.

To the rear of the cottage is a small south facing garden with a bench and you’ll find table and chairs on the patio area outside the dining room, the perfect spot for barbecues on the gas barbecue provided and al fresco meals.
An attractive water feature sits in front of the house.
A gravelled area to the front of the house allows you to pull up and unload and there’s parking for up to four cars just before you reach the cottage.

A welcome basket of logs is provided.
A high chair, travel cot and stair gate are available on request.
Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge). More dogs may be considered on request.

About the area

Hiron’s Piece shares its location with Watery Park Barn and guests are welcome to stroll the surrounding grounds and observe the local wildlife – a little like a mini nature reserve.

A short walk away is The Seagrave Arms where a warm welcome as well as real fires, good food and refreshment awaits.

The small Cotswold market town of Chipping Campden with its excellent range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants is just over three miles away.

The Cotswold Way starts here and is typical of the great walking country in this area. Whilst the great outdoors beckons, there’s also a wealth of historic properties and gardens to explore with Hidcote & Kiftsgate very close to inspire budding gardeners and Snowshill Manor, Stanway House and Sudeley Castle all within easy striking distance.

Being at the northern tip of the Cotswolds, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon is a short hop away and the traditional Cotswold hotspots of Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Burford can all be easily reached from Hiron’s Piece.
