Penygroes is a village in Gwynedd, Wales. The village offers a small selection of pubs and restaurants for fine dining, as well as a Post Office and Co-operative food store. Situated near the Lôn Eifion cycling path, with plenty of footpaths nearby for keen walkers too. The village is placed just outside of the Snowdonia National Park and has easy access inside for a plethora of sites to be explored.

While you're in the area, why not travel towards Glynllifon, a country park and gardens set at an estate, featuring an agricultural college, on-site shop and café. Visit to the Gypsy Wood Park, a family park where kids can meet the animals and explore the fabulous wetlands, with a selection of play areas. The pathway of Lôn Eifion passes by the village of Penygroes and is ideal for those keen on cycling to join the trail and see how far you can get, with stunning countryside views greeting you along the way. The Pen-y-Pass and Llanberis Path both offer mountain climbing opportunities for those who enjoy hiking, with picturesque views across the Snowdonia National Park.
