Pentewan is an attractive and modern holiday home, furnished to a high standard throughout; the front-facing rooms boast panoramic windows allowing one to admire the truly sensational views. Head out to the large raised sun-deck at the front, to soak in some of the best views of the famous Polzeath beach whilst enjoying the Cornish sunshine. Inside, the decor is modern yet cosy with colourful accents and contemporary furniture.

The large open-plan area consists of a well-equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook up a delicious home-made meal; which can be enjoyed around the dining table or out on the stunning sun deck. The sitting area is the perfect place to curl up and relax while soaking in the stunning views of Polzeath beach. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a cloakroom with wash basin and WC. A cosy double bedroom is also located on the ground floor.

The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor; a plush double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and two comfortable twin bedrooms, each with two single beds and are both serviced by the family bathroom.

Within walking distance you have acres of golden sand at the family friendly Daymer Bay as well as the wonderful surfing beach of Polzeath; here there are two surf schools who also offer equipment hire, several lively cafes, intimate restaurants and a selection of shops; a truly beautiful location. Also nearby is the water sports haven of Rock where you can try your hand at sailing and water-skiing, or head over to the famous St Enodoc golf course to perfect your swing. Just a short ride away is the popular fishing port of Padstow, where there are many excellent restaurants and boutique shops.

About the area

Polzeath is a small village located on the headland opposite Padstow and just a few miles from Wadebridge. There are many local shops providing everything a holiday maker needs, from surfing equipment to clothes. You can also find a number of stunning walks surrounding the village. The local culinary scene is not to be missed; Polzeath boasts an excellent selection of atmospheric restaurants such as Oystercatcher and The Waterfront; both serving up local ingredients and fresh seafood.

Polzeath beach is a haven for surfers and you can learn too at the Surf’s Up School. During the summer season the beach is watched over by lifeguards during the day. This large and sandy beach is also home to a nature reserve and some great rock pools to explore. Enjoy a day out coasteering with Era Adventures; while away in the stunning lagoons, play in natural whirlpools and rapids, climb over rockfaces and get the adrenaline pumping with a 30ft cliff jump.

Just a short drive away, enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Daymer Bay, where you can relax on golden sands and look out peacefully over the Camel Estuary and across to Padstow. A little further on and you will find the famous St Enodoc Golf Links.

Spend a day looking for King Arthur at Tintagel Castle. Walk across the bridge between the main land and headland to take in the breath-taking views. Once on the headland explore the rich history; walk among the castle ruins, find early-medieval remains and locate the life-size bronze statue of an ancient king. Don’t forget to venture into Merlin’s Cave, down below at sea level.
