A beautiful shingle beach with rock-pooling chances and a pub selling food overlooking it as well as the house previously occupied by Noel Coward and Ian Fleming can be found at the foot of the cliffs. While the Kent Downs AONB is just a short distance away for those who enjoy hiking and cycling, a number of other scenic coastal destinations can be found in the immediate area, including Folkestone, Ramsgate and Margate.
