On the North Devon coast, Lynton and its twin, Lynmouth, are tucked away within Exmoor National Park. With stunning scenery and some of the best opportunities to appreciate the untamed beauty of Exmoor's coast and landscape, Lynton and Lynmouth boast one of the loveliest and most unspoiled coastal settings in England. North Devon is a fascinating place to visit because of its rich heritage, cosy fireside pubs, delectable regional cuisine, and "green" credentials. Wild animals abound, including majestic red deer, the endangered Exmoor pony, unusual birds, and butterflies. As sleep calls, select between two well-presented bedrooms, including a super-king-size with extensive sea views and an en-suite bathroom, and a twin with en-suite shower room. Awaken to a morning coffee upon the patio before exploring the National Park and its delights, starting off at the Crock Point, Heddon Valley, and Heddon's Mouth all offering breath-taking scenes of the shoreline, before continuing onto the Lyn and Exmoor Museum, to brush up on your local knowledge. Woody Bay Beach also resides close by, offering magnificent and far-reaching views of the Devon coastline, it is the ideal spot for paddling the shores and basking in the sun's rays; you can also discover the Woody Bay rock pool with 250-metre-high cliffs, secret coves and lagoons. The multi-award-winning South West Coast Path, stretching for 630 miles from Minehead to Somerset and showcasing stunning vistas around the entire South West peninsula, can also be enjoyed from your doorstep. On your travels, be sure to stop off at the Exmoor Zoological and Conservation Centre, a firm family favourite, before travelling towards Ilfracombe, stopping off at Little Hangman vantage point, and Combe Martin Museum. Complete your break at Ilfracombe Museum, and the Tunnels Beaches, home to sheltered baths, a tidal pool, and cafe, before travelling towards the North Devon Coastline.
