Accommodation Description
panning three impressive storeys and offering over 4,000 sq ft of living space, St Andrew’s House is perfectly suited to large groups, comfortably sleeping up to 20 guests. The property features eight beautifully appointed bedrooms: seven with luxurious king-size beds and one thoughtfully designed family room with two triple bunk beds. A travel cot is also available for younger guests.
This bright and spacious home has a fascinating heritage. Originally built for Ernest Bailey, owner of the local mill, the house later opened as a boys’ home on St Andrew’s Day in 1901, giving the property its name. Today, guests can still hear the gentle flow of water from the historic mill and nearby Bentley Brook, adding to the tranquil and atmospheric setting.
Dogs are warmly welcomed at St Andrew’s House and are asked to remain on the ground floor level, ensuring comfort for both pet owners and non-pet guests alike.
