The Comedy is an attractive barn conversion that can be found in Christian Malford, Wiltshire. It sits in the grounds of the owners’ magnificent home, set in a quiet and private location. Throughout the home the colours are attractive, welcoming and very much in the modern-contemporary style but in keeping with the classic, period cottage style. The property opens up to a living room, a fitted kitchen with a dining area. There is also one double bedroom with an en suite shower room and WC. The bathroom floor is on two levels and a small step in between. The rooms upstairs are in the eves. Outside has a garden with a table and chairs provided. Guests can enjoy the garden freely, as well as the tennis court. Parking is available at the property. The Comedy is the place to visit for a short break with your partner.
Please note no dogs allowed in the upstairs lounge or bedrooms.
Please note: One well behaved dog is welcome at The Comedy! Please be respectful and keep your furry friend downstairs and off of furniture.
Please note: The bathroom has a small step up to the WC, Wash basin and Walk-in shower. Please be mindful and take care.
Please note: Although the Living Room, Bedroom and en suite Bathroom are located in the eaves, it is not cramped and perfectly suitable for those that are 6ft and taller.

Christian Malford, Wiltshire is a short drive away from Malmesbury which dates back to the Iron Age and is reputedly the oldest borough in England. Malmesbury is steeped in history and offers visitors over 400 listed buildings, a 15th century Market Cross, a ruined 7th century Benedictine abbey, an annual carnival and many independent shops, cafes and traditional pubs. The area offers many country houses, including Rodmarton Manor and Gardens, and Chavenage House, a fine example of a Cotswold manor unchanged for 400 years. Just a short drive away is The Cotswold Water Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, covering 40 square miles and offering a wide range of activities, including boating, water-skiing, fishing, cycling, golf and horse riding.

The Comedy is an attractive barn that sits in the grounds of the owner's magnificent home, set in a quiet and private location and ideal for a relaxing break in the countryside or as a base to visit many exceptional locations including Bath. Guests can enjoy the gardens freely as well as use the tennis court too! Unique in name and nature, The Comedy (originally for horses and coaches!) is spacious and very light with accommodation for two people (plus more if necessary). Although not in Bath itself it is set in the southern Cotswolds, with places like Tetbury and Cirencester only 20 mins drive away while Bath in the other direction is about 25 mins drive. In fact the barn is great spot for a 'town and country' break! Downstairs is the kitchen/diner, bright, modern and well equipped, while upstairs is the Living Room , leading to the bedroom and ensuite. (Please note that although the rooms are in the eaves upstairs, both are full height for a 6ft+ person and not in any way cramped or head hitting at all!) Throughout the home the colours are attractive, welcoming and very much in the modern-contemporary style but in keeping with the location. The owners, who live on-site, have considered everything to make your stay comfortable. If you're energetic you might like to use the tennis court! For the lively and determined there are two pubs within walking distance across the fields. For the Corona-Virus period, the property will be cleaned and left for 72hours between bookings, for added guest safety
