Something different can be enjoyed in the city of Oxford, displaying many fine examples of dramatic architecture.
Once again this owner has used her unique (and quirky!) style to create a stunning holiday property. This cottage really does have everything you could want or need. Located in a quiet corner of Oxfordshire and on the edge of a classic country village (Little Coxwell). The Hemmel, situated in the grounds of the owner's stunning farmhouse is filled with classic character - from the exposed beams and stone walls, to the original well (safely 'capped') located in the courtyard garden. The interior is cool and contemporary and provides luxurious accommodation: the twin bedroom and separate family shower room are simply but very tastefully presented. However, the standout feature in this lovely cottage has to be the master bedroom suite, where you can laze in the glorious roll top bath in the corner of the bedroom and admire the Oxfordshire countryside in the fields surrounding the cottage. The cottage represents the perfect choice for families or friends looking to get away from it all. On the doorstep you have wonderful walks, and a highly regarded pub serving terrific food in the village. If you prefer to prepare your own then you have 3 supermarkets less than 2 miles from the cottage. With Oxford about 25 mins drive away and the shoppers paradise of MacArthur Glen 30 mins away, you have got everything for a great break in a superb self catering home.
If additional accommodation is required, The Hemmel can be booked along with The Linhay (988824) to give enough space for 10 guests in 5 bedrooms.
