The Ski Club - Luxury Cottage in Worcestershire

The spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is flooded with natural light from the full height bi-folding doors which allow the decking area to seamlessly blend with the modern interior, and makes the most of the views out to the lake. Cooler evenings can be spent watching a film curled up on the comfy leather corner sofa around the cosy wood burning stove, or making the most of the great outdoors by taking a blanket to sit and stargaze around the fire pit. There are three tastefully furnished bedrooms, all with en-suite bath or shower rooms, and views across the lakes or the surrounding woodland.

The decked area around the front of the lodge looks out towards the lake, with all you need for alfresco dining at any time of day or night; parasols, benches, sun beds and more, mean you can relax for as long as you need, within the peace and tranquillity of nature. During the warmer months, days can be spent messing about on the lake in the rowing boat, kayaks, fishing, or simply relaxing with a good book on a sun lounger at the small man-made beach area. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing dip in their own private hot tub, the ideal place to unwind and warm up after playing in the lake.

Explore the lawns and gardens to the circular path which runs alongside the lake, or adventure through the dapple shaded woodland. Avid birdwatchers may wish to bring their binoculars and enjoy the bird hide, where resident birds such as the mute swan, duck, heron, grebes, coot, moorhen, kingfisher, and many more can be spotted.

The tranquil Ski Club is located on the outskirts of the historic spa town of Droitwich Spa, within easy reach of Worcester (9 miles away) with its splendid cathedral and excellent shopping; or Shakespeare’s picturesque Stratford-upon-Avon, just under 25 miles away.

Ombersley village is just 3 miles away and is a pretty half timbered village with a two AA Rosette restaurant, The Venture Inn, and two great pubs to choose from.
